Words Written By A Dear Friend of Mine

I recently experienced what it means to be Happy, sad, Heartbroken, loved, and most of all blessed. I have found what most people only see as a distant light. A freedom from a world that blinds our hearts and eyes. Silence passed over the hillside as he stood alone overlooking the valley. The Sun seem to come to a halt has the sky darkend with clouds. Has He turned to the sky he could fell the crushing and powerful thunder as it passed through him he could See the lighting cross the Skies with eternal measure. As he felt the coolness of the air it coarsest his body with such gentleness. With the rain falling like forgotten tears it clinched to his body washing away the lies of broken promises.

We have become pleasers of men, and haters of the the truth. In our selfishness we give away the only thing we have to give, Our hearts.

We seek for immoral and sensual relationships in hope to replace Love. We become Overtaken by Lust and false truths.

With every drink we wash away our dreams, and replace them with excuses.

We seek only for what is in that moment in fear of what tomorrow will bring.

In our drunkenness we seek for happiness and are yet still alone.

In our insecure hearts we are harded and give away the chance for what love could truly bring.

We say that tomorrow is a chance to change, yet we continue.. Not realizing that our lives are vapors and our time is counted.

We would rather give ourselves to strangers rather than the one who sits waiting patiently with a broken heart for your return.

And yet the one who has been true is the the one now forgotten
